He will be at Fort Drum next week. The residents are excited Trump will be there. It’s a very economically depressed area and they hope there will be new civilian jobs coming. Trump is doing all of the right things . Going to upstate NY can only help him in the polls.

FWIW, Utica/Rome area is essentially an economic wasteland after Griffiss AFB and GE left the area.
It’s really depressing to drive around there. The empty/abandoned factories in every little town. They are monuments to the success of globalism and the ever increasing taxation levels.
And so?
I always have to remind our Press that we are "a Republic".
The Clinton administration closed Griffiss. I live just down the street from it. It’s more a business park now, but we still get military planes landing, and the Eastern Air Defense Sector of NORAD is there as well. I believe this sector was involved during the 9/11 attacks in New York.
