If you're one of the many American progressives cheering on the performance of your new political rock star, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, look around: Many of the people cheering with you are Republicans.
Ocasio-Cortez's 14-point victory over 10-term incumbent Democrat Joe Crowley was certainly impressive. Her performance since then? Not so much. The GOP have branded her a gaffe machine, Democrats on Capitol Hill her urging her "to do things differently," and her stumbling media appearances have sparked references to the "P" word: "Palin."
Yes, it's that bad.
There's a lot to like about the bold, outspoken battler from the Bronx who, until just a few months ago was still tending bar. She's enthusiastic, she's attractive, she has a degree in economics from Boston University, and she's unapologetic in her (self-described) socialist views.
Unfortunately, Ocasio-Cortez doesn't appear to have test-driven her campus socialism in the real world. And as a result, her media performances under even the most tepid of questioning have been less than productive.
In the six short weeks since her upset primary win, Ocasio-Cortez has:
· Claimed "unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs."
· Referred to Israel's "occupation of Palestine" and struggled to explain what that meant
· Claimed the "upper-middle class doesn't exist anymore."
· Wrongly accused her defeated Democratic opponent of plotting a third-party challenge against her.
She also compared the costs of the GOP tax cuts (less than $2 trillion over the next 10 years) to the costs of her Medicare For All approach, estimated at around $32 trillion over a decade. Then to make matters worse, she added this during a CNN interview....

“campus socialism”
Perfect. But is there really any other kind?
At least we have fun laughing at them, right?
pInG!
-—she’s attractive, she has a degree in economics from Boston University——
Objection, Your honor...
If there is anything that highlights the Difference between liberalism and conservatism, It is this characterization. Leftists who dont have brains would see this comparison as unfair...Which tells you a lot!
Unfortunately there’s the kind of socialism that actually gets implemented in the real world, and millions of people suffer because of it.
Let me know when SNL mocks Ocasio-Cortez.
Palins so called incompetence was manufactured by the media who was still getting away with their full fledged propaganda.
And the McCain campaign did her zero favors in her needed defense.
So much for Graham’s “conservative” credentials.
SNL will never mock Ms. Occasional Cortex. She is the perfect Liberal. Stupid and uninformed to the point she might as well be someones pet dog. (I used that intentionally)
Watching a movie right now, “Hoffa”, and we’re at the part where a young Senator Bobby Kennedy questions Hoffa about any communist involvement in the unions. Hoffa is adamant he’s not a communist and wouldn’t associate with them or allow them in the Teamsters; Kennedy, the darling of the Dem Party, is of course vehemently anti-communist.
50 years later, communism has been masked under the political propaganda term of ‘socialism’ and embraced by the Dem Party. But it’s still the same communist party as it was in Bobby’s day, and just as destructive to society.
The Dems have strayed a long way from Camelot. Not that most young people would even know nowadays what Camelot meant.
Sarah Palin is Wonder Woman compared to horse-face.
Her and Palin have nothing in common. This is just a jab at Palin.
If I worked at Boston University I would be ashamed. A college education should give you at a minimum two things: a certain stock of information, and the ability to think. This woman has neither one. She is a clueless ditz. The worth of a B.A. from Boston University has fallen about 90% in my estimation.
To Sarah's Amazing List.
Sarah is worth 10,000 AOCs.
Leftist pretzel logic overload.
She and Waters should run in ‘20.
Such a beautiful wedding dress!
