Flake: Republicans Will Be ‘Sorry’ They Have Become the Party of Trump
Breitbart Video ^ | 8-26-2018 | Pam Key

Posted on 08/27/2018 6:33:26 AM PDT by Sir Napsalot

(Senator Flake talked to Chuck Todd on McCain on his Sunday talk show round, saying McCain was the 'voice for civility' and especially needed in Trump era, link here)

When asked if he supports a candidate in the primary in Arizona for his seat, Flake said, “I wish them well.”

On his endorsement, he added, “Nobody would be asking for a Republican primary, I can tell you that. This is very much — you know, I am not happy about it, but this is the president’s party right now. I think that we’ll be sorry for that in the future, but that’s the case right now.

Has Sen. Flake ever asked himself and/or his fellow Republicans WHY there are so many Trump supporters in the first place?

Do you think these people (Trump supporters) will be happy to go back in line with the old GOP after Trump's term?

Notice Flake, McCain and Linda never say this at events with Conservatives there.
Its always on PMSNBC where they feel they are safe.

Flake is a tool with a failing memory of the hate spewed by the media and Democrats at Juan McCain in 2008.

It’s not so much the party of Trump, it’s just that Trump seems to be just about the only one fighting effectively for many of the stated Republican ideas.

Flake is a tool with a failing memory of the hate spewed by the media and Democrats at Juan McCain in 2008.

Even that sentiment assumes that Flake has a certain level of decency and sincerity.

He doesn't.

We would not have needed Trump if the GOP was on the side of the citizens and the rule of law.
Flake is upset because Trump is giving the citizens the chance to keep our country.
We weren’t supposed to be able to elect anyone who would enforce the laws and borders.
Since the last amnesty we have only been allowed to vote for amnesty candidates.

Donald Trump has been fighting for his adopted party, the Republicans, for WAY longer than most of the “establishment” Republicans.

Trump may own a number of country club golf courses, but he is ANYTHING but a “country club” Republican.

If the upstart Bill Clinton had not come along in 1992 and defeated a first-term Republican President, there was a very good chance that Donald Trump may have pursued the Presidency in 1996, after Bush-41’s second term.

And an even greater chance that he would have run as a Democrat.

What we saw in 2016 was a populist uprising against the Elites in the Republican party. Even here on FR, we had FReepers identifying themselves as Republican party officials, and declaring that the party officials should be the ones deciding the candidates, not the people.

The insurrection is ongoing...
