As his political death-by-suicide nears Flake struggles desperately with the fact of his irrelevancy. Flake knows he is finished; that even the Democrats/Left won’t have him because in their Leftist religion Flake is tainted by the unforgiveable “original sin” of “originally” being a Republican (and being a RINO does not provide absolution).
It also seem Flake knows he is reviled across the country. Being a senator is going to be a lot less cool in the next couple of years. They are crooks and it seems the country is getting to point where enough understand that. A senate trial and guilty verdict of president Trump is a death sentence to many senators. Which is probably why impeachment would never get out of the house. These politicians have got to be jealous of the Trump rallies they know, no way they could ever attract that kinda of support. Flake aligned himself with amnesty supporter McCain. It didn’t work for him in AZ because he didn’t have war hero attached to his resume. Flake was out of step with his constituents. He had an 18% approval rating and had no choice but to decline to run for reelection.
With mccain gone he’ll have to find a new office husband.
