I was pointing out to my girlfriend last night - as we were watching part of the Trump rally in Indiana - that Trump rallies do not seem to correspond to the Dem/media stereotype of Trump supporters being a bunch of angry, fascistic, racist, violence-prone people.

The people are usually smiling, laughing, or simply calm; they are dressed in ordinary clothes, look clean and respectable, aren't wearing weird or vulgar costumes or masks, aren't screaming with rage, and aren't carrying signs with hateful or obscene messages.

The rare incidents of violence are always triggered by disruptors, they usually occur on the outer fringes of the rally, and are always limited to a handful of people.

I am gratified that the police were actively trying to keep the protesters separated from the supporters. Ok, we now have, what, TWO incidents in which a Trump supporter allegedly popped a protester? Ooooooo. Of course, just like Columbia, South Carolina, the MSM will now bring this up in every conversation, as if to multiply the incidence of such occurrences, because they’re crooked. But, wouldn’t be surprised if he was extremely provoked, else why was the protester also led off in cuffs? At any rate, what’s the score, again, 1,995 to 2?
And by the way, there still IS such a thing as “fighting words”, though the left only recognizes one side of that rule.
