...because the Democrats were too willing to welcome others with differing views into their party...
Yeah, right, differing views. The Demagogic Party welcomes diversity of viewpoints the same way the Gestapo did. Who wrote that sorry pile of BS? Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.

I have evolved from thinking Donald Trump was a joke to voting for him in 2016 and looking forward to voting for him again in 2020.

Even as I voted for President Donald Trump, I wondered how much of his conversion to conservatism was sincere and what fraction of his campaign promises he would even try to keep. I have never been happier in my life to be wrong about someone.

However, Democrats' greater inclusiveness and willingness to integrate members of other groups as part of their own meant that they identified more with non-Clinton supporters weakening party cohesion and leading to election defeat, researchers said.

He's alluding to the Hillary/Bernie schism in the Dem Party.

The Dems are showing multiple fracture lines right now. "People of Color" versus the white old leadership. Hard left "progressives" against moderate liberals. Transgenders versus "non trans inclusive" feminists.

Yes, Republicans have fracture lines, the GOP Establishment and "cheap labor" globalists versus Trump supporters, but their fracture lines are deeper.

Expect an explosion as the 2020 season ramps up, and the factions find it hard to get behind any single candidate.

I hear quite often commentators ponder why Trump won.

It must have been left up to me to explain why: It was Trump’s leadership and his policies. Just that simple. And that, and his success in implementing those policies, is why he will win next time.

Yeah - they’re as inclusive as the _____________ (fill in the blank - I decided to gently bite my tongue) these days....and require “standards” that the leaders don’t seem to be bound to.

We are seeing long term “Hillary Lost” PTSD in action here. It will never go away as long as this lot is around. We will be hearing about it the rest of our lives and in a few years it will be portrayed as “We just weren’t good enough for her.”

just came across a 10-minute interview with former GCHQ boss, Robert Hannigan, who resigned almost immediately after President Trump’s inauguration. it is with ABC Australia - taxpayer funded public FakeNews broadcaster.
in the program itself - Four Corners - the interview excerpts are minimal, so best to watch the video here:

18 June: ABC: Putin’s ‘trail of breadcrumbs from Trump Tower’: Spies issue warning to West
Four Corners By Lucy Carter, Jeanavive McGregor and Sarah Ferguson
VIDEO: 10mins01secs Interview with Robert Hannigan
Russia’s biggest cyber coup during the US election was the attack on the servers of the Democratic National Committee and the personal email account of campaign chairman John Podesta.
Material from these hacks was later published online by WikiLeaks.
Whether the Trump team knew in advance about these hacks, is at the heart of special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s investigation into Mr Trump, his family and associates...
Watch part three of the Four Corners Trump/Russia investigation — Moscow Rules — at 8.30pm on ABC TV and ABC iview.

ROBERT HANNIGAN, DIRECTOR GCHQ 2014-2017: In the case of the DNC and the John Podesta emails, they clearly thought “Here’s something that is really valuable if we want to damage, um, the electoral process, in general, and one side in particular,” and they made a political decision to use- use it.
So that is new and new level of aggression...ETC

They only like diversity because they can parse the population into controllable segments. But they want their segment in the plantation house.

It’s a way of saying that the Democratic Party’s constituent elements are at odds with each other. Which they are.

EXACTLY! It is a NICE way of saying that their elements are at odds with each other. Talk about a "dog whistle" for their party, THIS is a news "study" designed to warn their party to their in-fighting, without saying it publicly like they do when the Liberal Leftist news media finds any minor crack within the Republican party!

Another example is that the media has been proudly announcing that the Democrats could have as many as 15 candidates for President in 2020! And they have made this statement with the grand gesture that this "shows the wide diversity" within the party. Now compare that presentation to the multiple Republican candidates for President in 2016 - they are fractured, they are so-far apart on issues, how can they come together behind one candidate, etc.!!

I’ve always believed Hillary lost because Obama was such a monumental failure. From his economic policies, to his SJW tendencies, to his less-than-patriotic talk about America, Americans had had enough. If Obama had been successful, Hillary would be President today.

Here’s the real kicker, though: Hillary and her team were hoisted by their own petard when they created the ‘rule’ back in ‘08/’09 that criticizing Barack Obama was tantamount to racism! Hillary knew the economy was crap under Obama, but she couldn’t say anything about it while running for President. Donald Trump, on the other hand, had no such silly rule (or qualm) about mentioning it, which he did, and often.

These people are nuts. They are doing cooked studies to prove what they think is true.

But the actual facts are that people disliked Hillary and her policies. They wanted to try to change the course of America to get back to literal work.

These identity politics based excuses would make more sense if the perception of the economy, and its direction, were positive on Election Day.

Clinton was such a bad candidate that even Obama’s FBI dirt machine and McCains treachery couldn’t save her.

Maxine has been very quiet lately. Could it be that she has been muzzled? Not that she makes the democrat party look like raving moonbats...

The only thing appealing about hillary to a prog/commie American hater, was she would have continued on the same path of destruction the obamaites were taking us.

When asked for his biggest faults, former President Obama lamented that he simply “cared too much and tried too hard”.....blah blah....
