President Donald Trump has done irreparable damage to the United States and is impeachable, regardless of special counsel Robert Muellers investigation, a House Democrat said Thursday.
Texas Representative Al Green, who has forced two failed votes to begin impeachment proceedings against Trump, renewed his call in an interview with Hill.TV.
"What he has done to this society is harmful and in some cases it may be irreparable, Green said on the media outlets Rising show. He gave the example of Trump telling police officers that you dont have to be nice, when youre arresting someone.
"These are the kinds of things that can cause long-term harm to society, Green said.
Green concluded: "I think this kind of behavior is impeachableas a matter of fact, I'm confident it is.
The Democrat said that besides firing Comey, Trump could be impeached for reportedly calling African nations shithole countries and implementing immigration policies that would have adverse effects on those nations, among others....

Being a Texan, we can’t be proud of the likes of Green and Sheila Jackson Lee, but if you saw the districts they represent, it is a little more understandable. They are the most intelligent of the population....

The man is an idiot. By his unconstitional standard the meaning of “high crimes and misdemeanors” would slide immediately down the slippery slope to a meaning any opinion uttered by a president that someone, anyone, finds objectionable.
If the house proceded on that basis to impeach Trump for the reasons the man cited, many future presidents could and would likely get impeached just for the their opinions. As surely, if one party can get away with it, the hold by the written Constitution is broken and the other party(ies) will, when they chose, use the same standard for impeachment.
