Neither.

Expect martial law to effectively pre-empt or nullify elections.

If Kavanaugh gets into SC...Blue Wave.

If Kavanaugh doesn’t...Red Wave.

The Democrats are equating their core feminist base with the majority of American women. American women have fathers, husbands and sons and are not stupid. They are disgusted by this vile Democratic charade that is attempting to destroy the life, career and family of a fine Christian man. The so called blue wave will smash against a righteous backlash. BTW. Anything published or broadcast by NBC has a strong leftist bias and should be regarded very skeptically.

i’m in NY and the day ford testified WABC radio, who carries Rush, Hannity, Mark Simone, but presents their news from a far left point of view, interviewed four people in NYC on what they thought about Ford’s accusations- three of the four said she was an opportunist...

Off year national elections average around 40% eligible voter turnout. A wave election would be what, 50-60% eligible voter turnout? That’s what we have been getting the last few presidential elections. The people who care about politics and culture usually vastly over estimate the number of people who care like they do, at least enough to deign to vote over it.

I cannot fathom anything other than a huge red wave.

It’s strictly about numbers - how many people are more malcontent, rebellious, juvenile, chip-on-the-shoulder angry leftists. Most leftists I know seem to fit somewhere in this description and won’t see the light any time soon. The only dems that may wake up and smell the coffee would be those who still have a lick of sense left.

This is easy. Turnout on both sides will be high. That means blue district/states will be bluer, and red districts/states will be redder.

There are probably more blue votes out there than red votes, but the blue votes are concentrated in California, New York, Massachusetts, etc. (and not even with all districts in these states), while the red votes control about 30+ states, and the great majority of counties.

If that’s correct, it means minor changes in the House (maybe lose a few, maybe gain a few), and a very bad year for the Party of Satan in the Senate (6 - 7, or maybe 10 or more seats becoming Republican). A 61 - 39, or even a 62 - 38 Senate is not out of the question, paired with a 245 - 190 House. More likely 57 - 43 / 230 - 205.

But the election is still 5 weeks off. That’s enough time for the picture to change two or three times more.

Red state dem candidates are screwed if they vote down Kavanuagh. Either they vote for a conservative candidate Kavanaugh they would otherwise vote against if they were not up for election or they vote him down in which case Trump red state dems will be voted out and we retain a bigger majority to get an even more conservative candidate on the SC after the election. I do not believe all this nonsense that if Kavanaugh is voted down that the Repubs will be so mad or depressed they will not vote. I think the opposite will occur in Trump red states when Repub candidates assure them they will be voting for Trump’s next nominee to retain a conservative majority on the court and their opponent has proven he will not be.

We’ll have to see what happens when an FBI protege of McCabe finds “powerful, convincing evidence” next week that Judge Kavanaugh is a serial rapist.
