I probably do need to get out more in places where people talk. I was with about 40000 others at a pro baseball game last week, but talked only to my wife, dil, and granddaughters. Wife and 30 yr old dil are solidly on Kavenaugh’s side
What is gratifying to me is that around 40% of the younger women I know (usually daughters within families that I have gone to church with since moving to Texas in 2005 or other women that attend the same church I do) see Ford’s scam for what it is...
I do confess to being fairly active on social media (I have been a member of this particular social media prototype since 2000 so Facebook is easy), but I view that as a good thing. It makes sure that I hear some other points of view and gives me a chance to make sure I still have the good ole “I have a question about ________” or “I hear you, but I disagree because _______” chops working.
