You’re right - it was the parents who had the brains. John Poderetz is a moron. And how he came to be entitled to review movies when brilliant friends of mine are consigned to running repertory houses that are nothing more than flea pits is beyond me.

Horowitz is a tough customer. But he is a brilliant writer and a man who suffers tremendous guilt for his past. He has tried to make up for that in the last 30 years.
