There is a very “weird feel” to this sudden “blue wave” (post-Kavanaugh!) of “blue wave” stories in Hillary’s national socialist party press corpse.

NONE recognize the recent series of large, very enthusiastic, very-well attended Trump rallies all across the Midwest and FL.
NONE recognize that very few individual House district races threaten sitting (non-retiring) GOP conservatives, and the retiring Never-Trumpers GROPelites are the most liberal in the republican house lists.
Specific House polls across the board predict few losses - it’s always the mythical “generic ballot” that favors democrats.
The last few stories do recognize that individual Senate races are trending republican, but then come back with a conclusion “that if the democrats take the Senate and the House” they will do this, and that, and doom so-and-so. Impeachment by Nancy Pelosi’s House (and subsequent conviction by the Senate) always pushed under the table at this point.

Why is the national press corpse so foolish, so short-sighted so as to believe their inside-the-Beltway wishes and dreams - not the world’s reality? (Or have I answered by own question?)

My analysis, FWIW, energy at lib protests and Trump rallies does not naturally transcend into votes during Congressional elections, though Trump does seem to have the ability to give a bump to Congressional candidates when they need it. Remember the House races are based on demographic representation in that particular congressional district. Just because a Trump rally is well attended and full of energy in a state, those people come from miles around, and their particular district may be red, but if a district is majority blue, that’s the way, generally speaking it will go, it’s about numbers. I think the R’s will hold the House, but will lose seats as is common in mid-terms with respect to the President’s party. However, R’s will pick up seats in the Senate, possibly a fair amount. Bottom line, R’s maintain control of DC....the questions is, what will they do with it? Will they fight and build the wall, etc., or will they cave under intense media pressure that they’re bullying and not sympathetic to the rest of America?

Note how they spin this. In the Politico story they say “209 seats Dem or leaning Dem!”

This is meant to make you think that the Rs will LOSE 209 seats.

Wait a minute! Right now, today, Ds have 196 seats. So if they end up with 209 . . .

1) They still don’t have control of the House, falling short by 8, and

2) They are almost EXACTLY where I put them last week when I said as of now they would gain 10-15 (206-211!!!)
