Actually, I'm not so sure they do. This comment from the 'article' speaks volumes about what they think and why the country is so divided:

The divide in this country is in many ways driven by the erroneous supposition that the opinions of those who went through the relatively homogeneous process called 'higher education' are superior to the opinions of those who didn't.
