Jeff just shut up already. You voted. You are done.
Her older brother went to UNC. That made her a legacy. Out of state students pay higher tuition.

The Moron’s View...
My sister, who lives in Maryland, went to UNC. Her daughter was told that there are more qualified legacies that apply out-of-state than they can legally admit.
Her daughter (my niece) got in and graduated from UNC. She was at the top of her class in a Maryland high school and had a ton of activities.
If she had not been admitted, she was going through the back door to UNC (or NCSU) — go to a NC community college for two years and transfer.
My neighbor, a doctor is still in mourning her kid choose unc over notre dame. You would think her kid died. Older bro went to unc.
She was county fencing champ and other stuff. Hardly anyone goed to unc from our top public high school. Most of our kids go to private colleges.

Public Ivy Universities:
College of William & Mary (Williamsburg, Virginia)
Miami University (Oxford, Ohio)
University of California (nine campuses as of 1985)[7]
University of Michigan (Ann Arbor)
***University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill***
University of Texas at Austin
University of Vermont (Burlington)
University of Virginia (Charlottesville)
Thanks i already know the ranking. My neighbor wanted her kid to go to Notre Dame. It is a more popular school in our town with a vibrant catholic community and better for networking. Hardly anyone from here goes to UNC except maybe an athlete.
Networking is key. It depends where you want to live. Notre Dame is much more of a national school than UNC.
My kids wanted to live in Austin and work as engineers in the high tech start-up community, so they went to UT-Austin. They are very happy — except during the 110F summer heat.
That is great. Austin is a fun place for young people beginning their careers. My cousins kid just graduated with a phd in pharmacy. He visited Austin last month to check things out.
