Funny, I was thinking the same thing about Feinstein dying and John Cox for Gov. Thing is, unfortunately Feinstein is wicked enough to live forever and Cox will not be gov. Feinstein has power in the Senate because of her time spent there, and Leon will be a newbie and hopefully his ultra liberal ridiculous ideals will be rejected by the rest of the senate. It was a stupid republican that put us in this mess of having to vote for the top 2 in CA. Curses.
What does it matter? The State government will “harvest” whatever number of votes are necessary to pass whatever measures it wants or defeat them.
Elections in California have already been decided and they will let you know of the results a few weeks after they count the legal votes.
