LITTLE ROCK, Ark. When a Republican state legislator in Arkansas pushed last year to rename the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Clarke Tucker stood up for the former president.
The argument was that the people of Arkansas dont support the Clintons, said Mr. Tucker, a Democratic member of the state House of Representatives. My thought at the time was, well, the people of Arkansas voted for Clinton eight times.
But now, as the Democratic nominee in the tightest congressional race in this state, Mr. Tucker is happy for the former president and his wife to remain a plane ride away. Mr. Clinton, who was governor and attorney general of Arkansas, was once a near-ubiquitous presence helping Democrats in tough races back home, but the former president hasnt been asked to appear on the trail for Mr. Tucker.
There are no plans for him to do so. Or, for that matter, appear publicly with any Democrat running in the midterm elections....

Wonder fast the $700 / seat tickets for the bill and spill lying tour are selling?
I thought VD would do him in - but who knows? Slick Willy might have had multiple STD’s and was treated in secret.
He disgraced his legacy, now he lives in shame.
Surprisingly......even the NYT says Bill is getting the cold shoulder b/c of how he treated women.
In this age of Weinstein and Cosby ......abusing women you have power over is getting a bad name.
Sad saxophone.
Wasn’t that Clinton’s doctor’s physical assessment?
The stop in Texas really puzzles me. Must be a lot of old time Clinton supporters wanting one more look at Bill & Hillary.
Time wounds all heels.
I thought for sure she would off him her second time around the sympathy vote may have pushed her into the white house
We can easily fix that.
hey Dean, Good to see ya!!!
Rape apologist Clarke Tucker stood up for the former president...
Your picture shows Inforwars on an anti-Clinton t-shirt. This week I saw 2 cars with Hillary for President and Inforwars stickers on them. The dichotomy is hurting my head a bit.
