Cruz lit a fire for the #NeverTrumps and the Clinton campaign especially during the Chicago assaults at the Trump rally. His calculation was dead wrong and it was shameful. I think Cruz is invaluable. Time to move on for which I appreciate the Cruz sentiment.

Cruz didn’t insult Trump’s mother. He merely pointed out that they each had a parent that wasn’t born in the U.S., but they were still both considered eligible to run for president.
I’m amazed at how selective people’s memories are about Cruz and Trump’s negative comments about each other. They insulted each other, but Trump branched out and insulted Cruz’s father and wife and didn’t stop his National Enquirer buddy from publishing supposed adulterous relationships with a number of women.
