I hope they’re right.
In 2016, Trump got 27% of the Asian vote.
In 2012, Romney got 26% of the Asian vote.
Off the top of my head, it’s hard to think of any state where Asian voters can swing the state to Trump.
I’ll guess that most Asian-American voters live in California, Oregon, Washington, New York, and maybe a couple other northeast coastal states.
I don’t see any of those states moving to Trump, even if we get 100% of the Asian vote.
Talk about a niche market...
Almost as large as the Jewish American Republicans demographic.
Our post master was born in China and came here 20 years ago. I like visiting with her. She is solid Republican. As a kid I learned Asians were both highly motivated and intelligent, which makes them a poor fit with the dim party.
During my travels as a youngster I developed Yellow Fever, of which there is no cure. I’ve found that I do get some relief just by talking to her.
