There’s a huge thing going on behind the scenes that Big Media, as usual, is clueless about.
Namely, The Wall is being discussed. Every day.
It’s hard to appreciate what a sea-change this is from just a few months ago. Realize also that the Democrats and their Big Media pals really, really didn’t want it to become a topic of discussion - for years they denigrated it, ridiculed its supporters, and basically did everything in their power to keep “the Wall” off the airwaves.
Donald Trump has forced the change in coverage. Why? Because he knows the same thing the Democrats and Big Media do - the more people think about The Wall, the more people will realize it is absolutely necessary.
The longer this shutdown plays out - and the longer “The Wall” is kept in voters’ minds by President Trump - the more support it will get.
We’re only 2 weeks in, of course Trump gets blamed now, he even said he was willing to take it. He’s thinking long-term, while CNN/MSNBC/NY Slimes and the Democrats can’t think beyond tomorrow’s headline.
Minds are being changed, slowly. Be patient. Time is on Trump’s side, and he knows it. He won’t roll over, he’s in it to win.
Expect Nancy to be on TV all day calling Trump every name her small brain can think of

Good point. The opposition loves to use distraction as a way to control the narrative. For this to be effective, the distraction has to be the main media focus. Let’s say POTUS does something else that they feel the need to respond to. How do they counter? Find some new false narrative to push that may dilute their fear mongering over the shutdown? Time is their enemy.

Or, the Senate will fold and Congress will pass a veto-proof bill.
I really hope the House Democrats focus on the agenda they are advertising. Because, if they do, they will look like a bunch of out-of-touch, Commie clowns in very short order.
Remember that the State of the Union speech is 2 weeks from next Tuesday. That is trumps big opportunity to talk directly to the soccer moms in Philly to the blacks in Detroit about this issue. He will turn and look “nancy” directly in the eye and quote her own past words where she supported a wall and do the same to shumer. He will then go on to low gas prices, economic prosperity for blue collar workers, and a strong military. Need a lot of popcorn!!

I do believe Trump staying in the White House for the holidays proves that he’s looking out for the good of the country. He’s more morally in tune than Nancy vacationing in Hawaii.

The most common thing I hear from liberals or “moderates” goes along the line of “I don’t like his methods but I agree with what he is trying to do”. So when is the last time we heard that about a Democrat? Or a mainstream Republican? The important part is the agreement, not the methods.
