Dens won’t cave as long as the SSS payments, ADC payments, Food Stamps, Medicare, Medicaid all continue. As long as it is the Armed Forces, Nat’l Parks, etc not getting paid they have no need to move. Not their constituency. I dont know about Fed LEOs, lawyers and such. I do know Mueller and his flying monkeys are getting paid.

Defense Department appropriation bill passed back in the fall. So that is roughly half of all civilian employees and all military personnel. So DJT has even less reason to not keep the partial shutdown going until he gets what he wants.
