Say whatever you want about Biden but the guy is a serious political animal. Behind the buffoon exterior is a guy with lots of connections, the ability to raise cash and some serious sharp political elbows.
In short, he doesn’t mind wallowing around in the mud in order to win.
I wouldn’t rule him out of this.

Biden’s been talking with the black lady from Georgia - the one who thinks she was elected governor there last fall - that as a P/VP candidate team would make a formidable pair that could give Trump some trouble IMO.....
Trump didn’t run in 2016 because he was scared to death of Hillary. If she farts in his general direction he run and hide again.
Trump won because Hillary was hated by many. She still won the popular vote.
Biden is not hated by many. That alone will make him formidable, despite being a jackass.
Trump’s instincts on Biden’s candidacy may be on the mark. After all, there’s probably only room for 1 socialist when it gets down to the convention. It all depends how it shakes out.
