Gross looking-I’ll have a pork chop, thank you-it certainly doesn’t look very “patrician”-more like leftover dough from making bread-is that a new word for “RINO”?

Fried dough is a favorite in the country fairs around here, sprinkled with cinnamon or powdered sugar.

What do they eat in Texas? Fried cow chips?

Aka: Fry Bread. Very popular. Can be sweet or savory. With savory filling/topping, further North, known as ‘Indian Tacos”

Navajos have something similar.

I make it when the weather turns cold. We crave that sort of thing in winter. Trick is to stretch the dough really thin and have oil really hot. Quite good.

Too humid right now in the Midwest for this sort of food, IMO.
