“If I recall correctly, there is some constitutional provision that members of Congress can’t be held liable for things they say in sessions of Congress. So Adam Schiff can lie as he did and can’t be legally held accountable for lies.”

But how many times did Nancy and others say “Nobody’s above the law” Or maybe the LAW doesn’t pertain to them? I’m confused.

The Constitution specifically says they cannot be held accountable for anything said in Congress. So the laws on slander and liable that cover everyone else don’t apply to their words in Congress. Adam Schiff can declare in Congress that you haven’t paid your taxes and you murdered your wife and you have no legal recourse.
