Biden faces the Trump fusillade. Are he and his campaign up to it?

Some of Joe Biden's supporters are voicing growing concern that his campaign is not prepared to weather the dual political rip currents suddenly reshaping the 2020 race - an onslaught of attacks on his family from President Donald Trump and a tightened contest for the Democratic nomination.

Several allies, including top financial backers, are weighing whether to create a super PAC to independently defend Biden and go after the president, who has repeatedly accused the former vice president of corruption and whose campaign last week launched a $10 million ad blitz aimed largely at attacking Biden.

Other supporters caution that a more aggressive approach could cut against Biden's above-the-fray appeal and warn him against losing sight of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., whose steady march in popularity has eroded Biden's standing and given her narrow leads over him in several recent polls in early-voting states.

"I do think things have changed. ...You have to recalibrate based on the fact that Trump's attacks on you are going to be at the center of these impeachment hearings," said Larry Rasky, a longtime ally of Biden's who had senior roles in his two previous presidential campaigns. Rasky said he worries Biden's campaign has been naive about the amount of resources needed to counter Trump.

I think there's a piece missing. Something was said to Biden about not having the authority and that only the President could do that. I think Biden said...You want me to call him. This is what I believe I read but will go back and try to verify it.

Joe Biden was ill-equipped to dress himself in the morning even BEFORE Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president on July 25th. His campaign leaders know damn well that he’s barely a functional candidate.

The story making the rounds yesterday about his campaign staff trying to get TV networks to stop booking Rudy Giuliani is a giant red flag. Doing this in such a public manner — instead of just picking up the phone and calling these network executives privately — is clear evidence of fear, panic and ineptitude from top to bottom in Biden’s campaign.

The open and brazen corruption on Biden’s part in that video clip tells me that he never intended to run for President when he left office.

This is a Hillary Deep State operation. Clearing the field of Biden and, she thinks, hurting Trump a bit in the process.

From this they move to a RINO challenger or two to Trump in the primary. Romney is their ideal stooge for that. Beat him up a bit more.

Then the Clinton Crime Family - who still controls the DNC and Superdelegates - will show up at the convention and steal the nomination.

Warren won’t get Wall Street money and can’t win without that. Biden is too damaged. Hillary is the only one that can win. So she has to ‘save the party and the country’ will be the pre-scripted MSM narrative.

Actually, Trump is not attacking Biden’s family. He is attacking Biden’s corruption in using our taxpayer money to coerce the Ukrainian government into not prosecuting his family.

Biden’s son is a bit player. Biden is the main act here.
