During his opening monologue Monday, Tucker Carlson said Americans should stop pretending the November election is a contest between Donald Trump and Joe Biden because, as he put it, "there is no Joe Biden."
"The Joe Biden you remember no longer exists," Carlson said. "The babbling husk you see may have the same name and similar features, but behind the mask there is nothing but a jumbled collection of talking points from the 70s. 'Turn on your record player, no malarkey'. The candidate has no independent thoughts of his own."
Carlson claimed that Biden's actual function is to serve as a "perfect Trojan horse" for the grave intentions of the activist wing of the Democratic Party.
"Their plan is to ride him to power," he said. "Once there, someone tough and calculating and purposeful -- Kamala Harris, probably -- will change the country."

IF (more like when) Dems seize control once again, the country WILL be changed, there's no going back. Leftists learned their lesson from the Obama years.
He’ll be the Kerensky of the revolution.
Then we are well and truly screwed.
Joe Biden is Trojan Horse #2, Obama was Trojan Horse #1.
Kamala Harris has the necessary experience.
Kamala Harris has the necessary experience.
I guess if they are looking for the meanest, pit bull they can find since Hillary isn’t running, she would be the one. Gretchen Whitmer on steroids. Lord help us. What is it with women in power? Or should I say democrat women.
I didn’t get the “turn on your record player” reference. Is that something that Biden has said on camera?
Useful Idiot until the WOC takes command
"We bring social workers into homes and parents to help them deal with how to raise their children. It's not want they don't want to help. They don't they don't know quite what to do. Play the radio, make sure the television excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the, the make sure that kids hear words. A kid coming from a very poor school, a very poor background will hear 4 million words fewer spoken by the time they get there."
Record players are considered almost antiques at this point, so Joe was considered out of touch.
Joe won’t be the nominee. He doesn’t know what planet he is on. The dims will substitute someone in his place at the convention. But, it doesn’t matter who they run, they are all in on fundamental transformation.
This election will be Trump vs. anarchy.
Excerpt from NewsWeak:
Tucker Carlson criticized President Donald Trump on Monday night for saying he was enjoying “sitting back” and watching the “catastrophe” of the Seattle Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) unfold.
The Fox News host said the president’s remarks were the “wrong answer” to events unfolding in the district, and compared his response to that of a parent not trying to look for their runaway child.
In his opening monologue yesterday, Carlson also said the country needed help from Trump “right now” as he described ongoing protests as a “totalitarian political movement.”
I must grudgingly admit, the kid is mostly right. A better answer might have been “I watch with regret as they destroy themselves” rather than expressing enjoyment. But no one ever described President Trump as perfect. And perfection is so BORING!
More like a Trojan @$$ who is too dense to understand how he is being used . . .
Excellent opening monologue. Sadly there may still not be enough folks who know this is going to end in an ugly manner. If the adults decide it’s time for someone to sit in the corner, it could get messy. Carry at all times if possible.
If only Repukelicans can save us, we’re screwed. I can’t imagine these gutless, ball-less, pansies lifting a finger to help the President or citizens to reverse this ongoing liberal scumbag perversion of our country.
Mitch McComical is a good example of the failure of the US to secure term limits.
Tucker’s Monday show was an excellent one. VDH was outstanding.
I did get that of course.
I hadn't heard about Joe saying it though.
Anyway, being "out of touch" is an extremely bad thing when it's true of a Republican (as when George Bush supposedly was unfamiliar with a supermarket scanner).
When a Democrat is "out of touch," it's something to be ignored or laughed off.
