The Wuhan coronavirus likely will force the cancellation of even the rescheduled Republican convention in 2020. Without an official nominee, the Republicans then must decline to contest the election of 2020 against the magnificent Joseph Biden. If Trump does not win in 2020 and the ruling Democrats grant permission, then Trump can contest the election of 2024. Otherwise, we should start examining state governors and other high-ranking officials. How does Kristi Lynn Noem for President sound?
Even in the majority, the Grand Old Party functions as a rump party with less power than the Democrats exert during their minority. The vast majority of the controversial laws, regulations, and policies of the Obama administration even now retain the full force of law, and the Republicans changed very little that cannot reverse without legislation or even any serious difficulty in a few weeks or months at most.

Hogan not only did not vote for Trump in 2016 but made it loud and clear saying again and again that he would not vote for Trump. I understand that Hogan is a Republican who won the governorship in a democrat state but he could’ve just kept his mouth shut. He has been a big disappointment..
