Funny, I read today that Laurence Tribe is saying that if we keep counting votes well into January the House can coronate Queen Nancy.
In 2016, Republicans took the House. In 2018, Republican turnout was low, and the Dems took the House.
I don’t see any scenario which has us NOT taking the House if Trump wins.
This is gonna be a special kind of madness.
Nancy will lose the House and her seat. She will force her appointment as POTUS before she is forced to abdicate her Speakership. The new Pubbie House will immediately impeach her. Senate will confirm with a 2/3 guilty verdict.
Trump will be restored for 8 more years. But not before bloody knuckle grinding.

If the electoral college has not voted by Jan 3rd (last day of current congress), it’s possible.
But the count would continue, and eventually the electoral college will vote.
