In Phoenix/Valley of the Sun. We keep placing Trump signs on any corner possible. We had at least 1000 signs stolen, just in our LD, in every corner of the area.
All our area should be covered by Trump signs, but sadly, there are almost none. I (we) are replacing the stolen signs, by now 6x in places, but they usually disappear overnight. Only Trump signs! +McSally partially. All others are OK, except for some random vandalism.
Police has been notified, but so far stealing continues.
We need a picture of person and car registration. If you see them, do that!
BTW we cover them by yucky stuff, some folks did nightwatch, cameras been employed. They are really professionals. They supposedly get paid!
Actually anybody can place sign on public property in AZ during election time. That’s the law! There are many signs of all other candidates there, Republican and Democrats, even Biden, and they generally last. Only Trump is doomed. Private property of course needs owner approval, but owner approved signs are disappearing from private properties too.
Az qualifies stealing signs as misdemeanor or even felony in cases like this. Stealing them can get you in jail!
But the police is too busy nowadays, pictures were taken and submitted, they are investigating. Apparently they arrested somebody, but that guy was an idiot, probably just random jerk. The main force seems organized, clever and methodical. Watched signs do not disappear, but who can spend all nights watching signs?
That seems to be their method. Just drive by in large SUV (Ford explorer?). They just stop by the sign, guys jump off, grab them and speed away. Next time, please, make picture of them and the registration of the car. Then inform authorities.
I saw someone pulling Trump signs out of a lawn here in GA in broad daylight. I was headed to work but it definitely made me wonder.

There are no Trump signs in my libtard north of Seattle area. There was one Biden sign up for about a week but someone stole it and the neighbor whined on the Nextdoor forum.
Other than that, no signs. Of course they will all vote commie but neighbors stay quiet on these things. We do have a couple houses who always fly their American flags and one has a Gadsen flag.
I’ve been heavily involved in campaign sign efforts for 20 years. I can say that it’s a fact: The Dems steal signs. I have even seen city workers throwing GOP signs into a truck, with lights blinking, in the middle of the day. This year we have put out 1000 signs in our district. Only about 100 are left. It tells you exactly who they are.
Ammo shortage?
I understand poison ivy is helpful. If anybody needs some, my neighbor has a poison ivy farm, and he would never miss a bushel or two.

Most High School and College kids trucks also have Trump 2020, the Texas Flag, the “COME TAKE IT” and that Blue Line US Flag and they are flying them from everywhere they can same with the Boats in the Harbor.

Line the insides of your signs with razor blades. Put a note that the signs warning that the signs are protected and anyone touching them will regret it! They take one and they are done!

There have been sign vandalism and sign disappearance always, as far as I remember. Even Democrat signs disappear or get vandalized sometimes! Lot less than Republican, but unfortunately they do too. I personally oppose anybody to steal any sign, but you get used to it and kind of count on some signs to disappear. Just put more signs to counter this.
But I have never observed this - the planed, coordinated, targeted attacks on one candidate. All Trump signs disappeared. I put other Republican signs next to Trump’s and they are still there.

Right - I was sure the signs themselves can go up, but lighting them and / or the area around them might be subject to local regs?

They go in the night with big vehicle for what I hear.
