Regardless if you like like Vivek, this was arguably the most enriching interviews of a presidential candidate I’ve witnessed. We need more of this.

Has this guy yet defined the “Deep State” as the 80%+ unconstitutional portion of the federal government now the totalitarian federal government who has strayed SO FAR from its constitutional limits and restraints thanks to Obama, that it now presents a clear and present danger to the states, the American People, and our Free Constitutional Republic?
IOW has or will he come out with a commitment to dismantle this $3+ trillion “Deep State” beast sending hundreds of thousands of officials, bureaucratic heads, and government workers home packing?
He’s going to need strong state support for that - the kind of state support that is willing to forego decrepit federal funding for a concept: FREEDOM (money bribes vs. freedom - imagine that) - the kind of commitment to which NO STATE has yet committed.
Looks like a longshot to me even though I would gladly welcome it.

Unfortunately, it’s all just talk at this point in time. I’d rather go with a proven entity. Now, if President Trump brings Vivek into his administration to put his feet to the fire, to see if his walk matches his talk, I’m all for that. Not as VP, as that’s too close to top job.
He has said something very similar to what you’re asking. It would be a miracle of he could accomplish it. Best try would probably be for Trump to put him in charge of just that, assuming Trump can manage to get elected again.
My identical thoughts as well. GOP needs new BOLD blood and ideas badly. Hope Trump wins and appoints VR to some effective position.
