Right or Wrong, it’s a loser politically. Most women are single issue voters on this.
The real issue is, this is an issue for the individual states, not the Federal Govt. RoeV/Wade was always bad law.
A bankrupt society whose voter base is mostly self-absorbed barbarians and butchers.
I think only if there is a complete ban are “most women single issue voters”...most women do not want late term abortions
It is very wrong to abort a fetus. But should principles be abandoned for sake of winning elections? Only problem I have is pro-life agenda will not get a boost by losing elections. It is a serious conundrum.
If that were true Deep State wouldn’t have to steal elections.
BTW, I know a lot of pro-choice women.
Not one of them supports legalizing infanticide.
Everybody here is overcomplicating this.
Laws against third trimester and partial birth abortions can be easily passed, and with Roe gone, can be easily enforced.
Most voters, however, will defeat candidates, parties, movements, tendencies, etc that even HINT that they might restrict early (<13 week) abortions.
What these elections and ballot questions are about is this:
Q: “If, in order to prevent a law from being passed now or in the future that would restrict first-trimester abortions, do you favor a State Constitutional Amendment to guarantee a right to abortion?
Huge majorities will answer “Yes” to a question phrased that way, and it is that phrasing that every Democrat wants to run on next year.
What Republicans want is unclear.
“ Right or Wrong, it’s a loser politically. Most women are single issue voters on this.”
When a full third to half of women think that abortion is a first and only issue, in spite of Bidenomics and everything else Democrat Disaster, any purple state will give blue results, and any red will go purple. FACT.
Neal Boortz had been an inspiration to me for my thoughts on abortion.
“For the record: I still believe that abortion, under certain circumstances, should be legal, but not as a means of contraception. Plus, the parameters should be set by the states, not the Federal Govt.”
Yes abortion are murders, and murders still happen every day everywhere.
Baby killers just gotta kill babies.
How come it always ranks so low on issues of importance?
