Tricky call. Beshear(D) will replace him with a DEMOCRAT if he steps down. Republicans should be working Kentucky to hold a special election if he steps down or we will be stuck with a Democrat till 2028.
Re: 6 - I thought that could not do that in Kentucky due to a state law that says a replacement has to be from the same party?
