Commie trash. If you look at his thesis, he basically is describing himself. I almost put a hole in my monitor watching that one.

Send them a comment on this one. This one is WAY over the top.

There has to be some power in the world superior to our own - for our own sake.

Even if it's an evil power, Andy? Try thinking with your brain for once instead of with your rather capacious, gas-emitting orifice.

Ah, but Clinton and Chirac didn't get UN approval for their 1999 War on Serbia...and little old Andy Rooney didn't bother to criticize that small oversight.

Happened to hear this idiot spouting off tonight. Andy Looney thinks it was a mistake to take Saddam out of power. He didn't support it from the beginning but thought it was OK since the war went so well. Now he is against it again because it is taking more that 6 months to install a new government and rebuild the nation that Saddam was working to devolve into a 3rd world country.

Saddam had the UN on his payroll with the Oil for Food program so Kofi and his buds weren't about to cut him off. Andy would rather have the UN dictate US foreign policy than the President. What a loser.

Commie trash.

Please explain what makes this article (or the author) "commie trash".

If you understand what a communist is, fine.
If not, kindly stop making an ass out of yourself.

The only thing I find more infuriating than articles like this one are the masses of 'conservatives' who label anybody they disagree with as a 'communist'... without having a clue as to how that term applies to the person they have just labeled.

It's embarrassing to every intelligent conservative here.

Andy Rooney is one of the myriad of people who, when one thinks about how long they have been around, and have been labeled an institution, makes one scratch one's head in bewilderment.

I wish President Bush would try to make this country less hated.

I don't.

The French and the Germans were against attacking Iraq because they do a lot of business there.

Yep. They do business with known dictators and keep them in power because they want cheap gasoline (or "petrol").

CNN kept their mouths quiet about torture and murder in Iraq so that they could keep their Baghdad bureau.

No blood for ratings and no blood for oil. There does not have to be a war for blood to be spilled when a blood thirsty dictator (and his 2 sons) are in power.

Uh, Andy...if we had listened to you and the UN had never given permission for an attack - which it didn't, and if the French had their way, never would - children would still be in prison, the rape rooms would still be operating, and people would still be buried alive and fed into shredders.

But your conscience would be clear.

It isn't an improvement.
