[history]
Author, filmmaker and activist Michael Moore told more than 2,100 people at Butler University Monday night that last week's California recall election provided hope President Bush could be defeated.
"Anytime you have an angry mob of voters, that can't be a bad thing," he said. He voiced hope that voters would summon the same kind of anger next year to elect a new president.

Sara Bauer, Butler University "student": "(Moore) wants to get us motivated," she said. "I don't always agree with what he says, but whether you agree with him or not, you have to listen to him."
No Sara, you little pinheaded twit, you do not have to listen to a scumbag like Michael Moore. Use your own head, read other sources than the NYT, Time, and Newsweek, talk to others besides your socialist pencil-neck professors - in short, do some scholarly research into the truth and you will find it. It's not there among the opinions of the media "elite", hollywood nitwits, or democrat party.

last week's California recall election provided hope President Bush could be defeated.I love how the insane Left is spinning Arnold's victory as a victory for them. "The question now has to be asked of the Bush administration: Do you support our troops?" Moore said.
What the f**k?!
Where does he get the gall to flip-flop like this? It's astounding how far removed from reality they truly are...
What's next? Are they going to take the successes in Iraq and somehow attempt to credit themselves for it? Amazing...

"The question now has to be asked of the Bush administration: Do you support our troops?" Moore said. What in the WORLD is he talking about???? I thought it was the Democrats who want to cut off the money for the troops and bring them all home!
He's all over the place; does he not realize it was CONSERVATIVES who said enough is enough last week in California???
What an idiot.

Tell that to 6 million Jews who used to live in Germany.

This will be a far better world when both Kennedy and Moore leave the scene.

I thought Michael Moore died of AIDS?
To: presidio9
UGH! I didn't realize this guy was in Indy last night. Butler is a private school, but I will tell you if I had my kid their I would be asking the administration what they are doing with the very expensive tuition fees. They also had Gorbachev there a few years ago to give him some kind of environmental award (sponsored by Diane Simon of Simon malls).
Michael Moore is a bad, bad man. Other than that, I won't comment on him.

What's next? Are they going to take the successes in Iraq and somehow attempt to credit themselves for it? Amazing... They already did by claimimg it was Clinton's military that defeated the Iraqi's. Got new for them it wasn't. The military belongs to the American people.

Is Moore still making the rounds? Geez, when will it end? This dork is to political discourse what Tiny Tim was to music.

Their delusion is truly an amazing thing.
They remind me of the kid in 3rd grade who flat-out refuses to admit he stole your crayons, and instead accuses you of stealing his.
Logic defies the Left.

It would be news if Moore didn't do that. Next thread.

Isn't it just EASIER to have someone TELL her how she should "feel"?

Sounds like Michael Moore is "in the money" with all these successful projects. Since he hates the rich so much; one has to wonder how much HE has done for the poor he claims to care so much for?

Michael Moron should just trade his Red bowling ball in for a guillotine.
He would have enjoyed the festivities of horror perpetrated during the French revolution.

My son heard this miserable excuse for a man speak at Boston College last week. Same dreck. He not only called for the defeat of Bush and all Republicans,he answered questions from the audience by trying to humiliate the questioner or the question while avoiding any substance. This, of course, is straight from the Stalinist/Democrat playbook.
