Also, from #37: The regular posters here on FR who are Muslims, Christians, Jews, atheists, Buddhists, etc. (that I know of) do not seem to dwell on this subject either, Dajjal -- just so you get the BIG picture.

I'm trying to get a handle on the dispute here, as I've found the links provided by both of you on a number of threads to have been quite helpful.

Cindy, I've been mining the Imam al Mahdi vein for a little over two years on FR. I think an understanding of Islamic eschatology is as important now as an understanding of Mein Kampf was before and during WWII. Doesn't mean I believe in or follow the precepts of either, just that it's important to know one's enemy.

What's the beef here?
