Britain certain owes an apology for that declaration, all right.
To Israel.

One of the largest betrayals in history by a leading world country.
The area of "palestine" in the levant was intended to be equally divided between Jews and Muslims. All of it.

After the discovery of the value of oil, the Brits had to do some very quick conspiring, creating Jordan, an all Muslim country, and later pretending it was not part f the original "palestine" to be equally divided.

The beauty of this post is that it will force a lot of really really ignorant people who hold great sympathy for the sandmaggots to perhaps learn a bit of real history.

Britain should apologize to Israel for giving away 80% of the Palestinian Mandate to the Hashemites, after giving away their patrimony to the robber gang of Saud.

They should also demand apologies of the Jordanians and Iraqis, since the Hashemite King of Jordan and Iraq signed a treaty in 1919 recognizing the border of a future Jewish state as the Jordan River. That was de facto Arab recognition of the future state, something Arabs today completely ignore.
