NY Times pulled a convenient scandal out of their creative hats
(again) to distract from a scandal implicating their pals? The mainstream media
(scandalously) parroted the NY Times
(again) and ignored the real memo scandal, too?
Scandalous. U.S. intelligence officials have told Fox News that reports of a frantic last-ditch effort by Iraq to avert an impending war were simply a facade by "third parties, charlatans and independent actors" aimed at preventing the U.S.-led invasion.

FYI. Dems lied.

If Saddam wanted to do this at that time, he should have by God gotten on the horn personally and publically made the offer. That is the only thing that would have sufficed at the time.
He did not...ergo, there was no offer.

And FDR should have accepted the surrender from this Fokker?
Hmm, missed that edition of the New York Times.
Oh, right, that was a Democrat president.
