You may want to update your understanding of the current definition of "right wing".
The media and Dims have labled "right wing" an ordinary citizen who flys the American flag in his/her yard, or has an American flag decal on his/her car.
You need meet none of the above qualifications if you own a pick-up. You're an automatic "right winger".

However, the majority of my experience shows that conservatives are generally more open to honest, calm debate than our liberal, ah, "counterparts."
