I found this article this morning to be very uplifting and inspiring... There's hope for France yet!
This young woman sounds like a Free Republic soul-mate.

I just hope she's got good security.

Maybe she'll end up moving to New Hampsire. I doubt the frogs will tolerate her for long.

Europe needs a miracle. What a miracle it would be if St. Joan reappeared in 21st century form to lead
la belle France and the rest of Europe to a
renaissance!
Contemporary Europe--including beautiful France--is trapped in a maze of confusion, self-doubt, and decadence; unable to escape socialism, Islam, or leftist self-destruction; unable to believe its own survival to be worthwhile; unable to believe in Christianity or Western Civilization; unable to muster the energy, imagination, or even the will to continue existing.
Europe definitely needs a leader!

Lots of reading, including works of Alexis de Tocqueville and her favorite, the Nobel economics prize-winner Friedrich Hayek, inspired her political ideas. Isn't this interesting.

Somebody in France gets it.

Interesting. I found a page by someone who has written an odd poem that has both Sabine Herold and Free Republic in the lyrics.
