The Economists Face Value column profiles Paul Krugman and pretty well sums up my own view of him:
But, increasingly, people are asking whether Mr Krugman's success as a journalist is now coming at the expense of, rather than as the result of, his economics
perhaps the most striking thing about his writing these days is not its economic rigour but its political partisanship.
I saw a copy of Krugmans latest book in one of the local bookstores yesterday and was struck by its cover art. The cover art for the non-US or Commonwealth version of the book is very different from the unremarkable text that adorns the US version. Click here to see the version that retails at Amazon in the UK and compare it to the cover from Amazons US site.

Never forget: Krugman writes for The New York Times.

Is that supposed to be taken seriously? It looks like the amateurish stuff the DUmpster crowd does in junior high.

Krugman's views would not have been well received by my Econ 201 teacher.
To: aculeus
That should be Paul Krugman, who was paid by Enron to hype their stock.

Although I got this from an apparently legit site I am asking Admin Moderator to kill the thread which I might repost if it turns out to be this cover is for real.

No doubt, and that a$$wipe uses Ken Lay nonsense on his book cover. Another hypocritical liberal. What an amazingly poor economist, too.

That should be Paul Krugman, who was paid by Enron to hype their stock. Didn't Enron's bad behaviour occur mostly in the '90's? Libs are funny!

In cased you missed it:
From today's not-link-worthy Guardian:
Dear President Bush,
I'm sure you'll be having a nice little tea party with your fellow war criminal, Tony Blair. Please wash the cucumber sandwiches down with a glass of blood, with my compliments.
Harold Pinter

From next Sunday's New York Times:
Dear Ethicist:
Is it wrong to wish for the imminent death of a crazed evil man whose been diagnosed with a terminal disease?

To: Mr. Buzzcut
It's not the cover shown at Barnes & Noble.

I wonder which cover Krugman prefers?

OK, it's legit.
Amazing how he can get away with condemning Ken Lay and Enron after he accepted his 30 pieces of silver ($50,000) from shilling for Enron.

See my number 6.
Something is very fishy and there is no way to contact the source-site.
