More than 91,000 Spanish-language textbooks were donated to schools in Colorado and Wyoming on Friday by the Consul General of Mexico.

This is the largest donation of textbooks since the Consul General started the practice more than five years ago, said spokesman Mario Hernandez.

The textbooks are geared toward elementary-age students and cover nearly every subject. There are also books that contain information about every state in Mexico, Hernandez said.

The books will help Spanish and non-Spanish speakers expand their Spanish vocabulary. It also helps expand knowledge of Mexico, Hernandez said.

For the price of textbooks, Mexico is able to slough off on the USA the costs and expenses of building more schools to hold the illegal aliens' children; the hiring of teachers; the social burden of integrating them into society, etc. etc.

But that's what we DON'T want. A donation of english textbooks by the Consul General of Mexico would be a better choice. If were up to me, I'd burn the books he gave.

Is Rudy the only one in American government with the ____ to say "no thanks" to inapropriate gifts from foreign governments? Love him or hate him, you gotta admit he really believed in his beliefs and was driven by his own sense of right and wrong, not just the poles.

The textbooks will teach the kids that Colorado and Wyoming are rightfully part of Mexico, but temporarily under illegal US occupation.

Liberals will see this story and think: because of the war in Iraq, we can't afford textbooks for our schools, and have to rely on the generosity of Mexico.
