When Michael Jackson paid 20 million dollars to settle similar allegations in 1993 and 1994 it became a very germane fact that Michael Jackson had something he did not want to be adjudicated in a court of law. Nice of you to dismiss a $20 million dollar payoff as non-germane but it won't wash. He paid to prevent a trial. In all probability he won't have that option this time. If he did I'm sure a certified check for 20+ million would already have been hand delivered to the accuser.
