I *think* he is better- started giving him doxycycline from an old abcessed tooth 'scrip, sugar water, vitamins. His little mate has been beside herself, chirping & squawking & dancing everytime she sees me. They both are acting more normally now.
The fly in the ointment may be his age- he's 28 years old, and I understand cockateils usually live about 15 years. He's survived my first wife, my Dad, my Mom, and numerous other relatives and friends, but it may be time for him to fly off to that other World beyond the stars.
