(IsraelNN.com) A gag order has been lifted permitting reporting the GSS (General Security Service/Shin Bet), police, and the army thwarted a Fatah Tanzim suicide bombing attack in Rosh HaAyin on Monday.
The suicide terrorist, a resident of Balata, was escorted by a middle aged male and female, both Shechem residents and both parents of seven. The escorts were to draw attention away from the bomber until he crossed into Green Line pre-1967 Israel. The female carried the bomb belt in a bag since they realized security inspections for females are less rigorous. The three met near the Israeli Arab municipality of Kfar Kassam where she placed the bomb vest on the terrorist, and then began returning to Shechem. The bomber and escort continued but soon realized the massive police presence and rigorous security searches, deciding to hide the bomb and turn back to Shechem as well. They were apprehended in Habla, in the Kalkilye area.

In Hebrew they use the word "Suicide terrorist". They should use homicide terrorist.

In the old days the authorities would have tied them and their families together and exploded the belt on them. They are lucky we live in a different world.

" In Hebrew they use the word "Suicide terrorist". They should use homicide terrorist." Why? Isn't that redundant? All terrorists are bent on homicide. These use the particularly evil method of suicide. I wish our media would use "Suicide terrorist" instead of "selfless militant" or whatever Reuters' "reporters" are peddling now.

I agree. I really don't have a problem with the word "suicide." But I want them (media outside of Israel) to use the word "terrorist" with it.

My sisters live in Rosh HaAyin and Netanya. This makes me incredibly angry, since it's clear what's happening is that the terrorists are getting funneled by the existing security fence (so less infiltrations near Netanya) to areas that don't have a fence yet (like Rosh HaAyin.) The fence near Rosh HaAyin is incomplete primarily because of the argument with the U.S. government over extending the fence to include Ariel. They need to complete the fence NOW!
