Any buzz on Buckles' replacement? This could well be a clue as to what will happen with the AW ban sunset- and the chance for Bush to lose around 5 million votes like his daddy did.

Which candidate would receive those 5 million votes? Dean? When Bush I was up for reelection, those voters just stayed home, and let Bush's expectations of his second term dissolve just like his reputation for truthfulness.
But if Bush II is as stupid or as poorly advised, I wonder that a Tancredo candidacy might then be viable, with possible real results to be gained four years after.

Wow..now THAT would be a great battle: Tancredo vs Hillary's second term in '08. Or would it be Tancredo vs Dean II? Well worth sitting home for in '04
Don't bogart that joint, my friend...

Will he be using the RIAA's goon squad to go kicking down the doors of suspected bootleggers?

Instead of prosecuting you, they'll burn down your house and call in the National Guard to shoot anyone running out.

Are you falling for Dean's claim to be pro gun? I don't believe that what he may have done about firearms in Vermont has anything to do with possible behavior as President of the U.S. What are your thoughts?

MP3 players with little CO2-sized fire extinguighers built in are expected to be hot sellers this Christmas.

This is scary. I think that the music industry really is going to try to sue everybody into submission. Hopefully they will continue this strategy, though, because it will absolutely destroy them. With no one to payola the radio stations, maybe in a few years we can get some good independent music instead of clone rock. I don't think it's downloading that's killing the record companies. It's suing fans, releasing eight hundred sound alikes to every popular trend, paying radio stations to pare their playlists down to 20 songs, and releasing albums full of filler. Maybe without the obstacle of record companies, some real bands can get noticed.

I believe Dean (with Gore's council) will follow the DLC's strategy paper on this issue.

Welcome to Hell Mr. Buckles; if you thought fighting "gun nuts" was hard, just wait until the hackers begin.
This guy won't last half as long as Hillary Rosen. Now there was a tough old battleaxe.
He probably doesn't even know what mp3 means.

I don't believe that what he may have done about firearms in Vermont has anything to do with possible behavior as President of the U.S. As a VT resident for the last 20 months I'll tell you this; Dean did NOTHING concerning firearms here. The VT Constitution is so strong on firearms ownership that there's virtually nothing any VT pol can do outside of amending the VT Const.
The only way that will ever happen is if some hard left socialist (like Dean) gets in the White House and puts more commies on the USSC who will null and void the 2nd A. in the U.S. Const.
