Republicans are what Democrats were 24 years ago. The Democrats are now Socialist. The country is moving to the cat loving, bed weting left. It's a sad day for the USA.

Republicans are what Democrats were 24 years ago. The Democrats are now Socialist. You can see that with Zell Miller. Zell Miller hasn't changed... his party has.

The country is moving to the cat loving, bed weting left. Hey, I resemble that remark!
Other than that, you are correct, of course, which is why we're ready to elect a Mommy President, and that makes Evita, in my pessimistic scenario, a virtual shoo-in, whenever she decides to run!

Republicans are what Democrats were 24 years ago. The Democrats are now Socialist. The country is moving to the cat loving, bed weting left. It's a sad day for the USA. The Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (that's more than 24 years ago) may have been more restrictive than what we have today. It included both campaign contribution limits AND campaign expenditure limits.
Then 5 years later in Buckley v. Valeo, 424 U.S. 1 (1976)the USSC struck down campaign expenditure limits.
We've had some sad days and some good days in the good ole USA. We've been bobbing and treading on the left for a while.
