Besides, Miranda added, "pretty much all you're going to be able to arrest those people (the runners) for is trespassing."
Is selling counterfeit gov't docs not a crime ?

It sounds like Ridge is doing all he can to encourage this practice of dealing in fraudulent documents by promising good things to anyone who does it.

Now's a good time for all of us to get some of these phony documents. It's obviously not a serious crime anymore --- and you could receive a few extra Social Security checks by establishing a couple of illegal alien identities who would likely be able to receive a check.

Start by getting a few matricula cards ---- easily gotten with a small bribe from a Mexican Consulate workers. Or just steal some from an illegal.

It's not a crime for Mexicans. They are about to reap some pretty substantial rewards for doing this.

Hey, what's the problem? These people are performing a needed service.

They're doing the work law abiding American citizens won't do.

It's booming in Las Vegas too. Lot's of illegals here. I can go into the North end and buy virtually anything if I have the cash....even a welder's permit.

Still, she said, "the police act like they are blind; they don't do anything."

...I believe it.
