How does persecution enter into simply putting a stop to the promotion of homosexuality?

I'm quite sure that you are familiar with the New Testament. Could you please explain it here in relation to promoting the gay agenda in public shcool? Perhaps those of us less familiar would like to know how you have come to believe that Jesus would promote acceptance and tolerance of homosexuality, an abomination and a mortal sin?
