Angry mob kill ex-Baath party chief
04:02:50 È.Ù Iraq, Dec 18 - The former regional chief of the deposed Baath Party was beaten and shot dead by an angry crowd near this Shiite holy city, a Shiite official said Thursday.
Ali Abdullah Al-Dhalimi had been hiding since invading US-led troops overthrew the Baathist regime of Saddam Hussein in April, said Ahma Daaybel of the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SCIRI) in Najaf.
Daaybel said a crowd killed Dhalimi in Kufah, near Najaf, 180 kilometres (110 miles) south of Baghdad.

Not on my chart... but being on a wanted poster is probably an insult to Arab "honor".

This surely would not have happened pre the unearthing of Saddam.

It was only a matter of time before this began.
The yoyos among us may still argue that capturing Saddam was inconsequential, but I know it was a major factor in this event.

There will be a lot of reports like this over the next few months from Iraq.
Now that the mass murdering thug, The $oddomite, has been removed from any power, we will see a lot of street justice happen in Iraq.
Friends of The $oddomite might want to go to France if they want to continue breathing.

I don't know who he was but I do know this: This is what we were expecting immediately after the war until it became clear we weren't going to get Saddam right away. Excuse me for stating the obvious.
And I wonder: Will the alphabet networks pick this up?

This whole thing was scripted for the media. The Iraqis could have killed him anytime.

JUST what I was thinking...by God (I mean, Gosh), the ACLU needs to perform a thorough investigation of this! This murderous thug was obviously denied his rights under international law to a defense attorney who rhymes really well and an appearance on Oprah.

It's only a matter of time until some Democrat politician, pundit, or reporter says that this is all George W. Bush's "fault." That these Baath Socialist Party thugs should have been found earlier so that they could be protected from angry mobs of Iraqi citizens who want to make sure these thugs pay for torturing, gassing, shredding, raping, and otherwise hurting their loved ones and friends.
The Democrats and their enablers will twist and spin good into bad and bad into good.
