A shame. Model Rocketry was my hobby as a teenager; now I'm a "rocket scientist". Entirely harmless and educational.

Like everything they touch, it looks like model rocketry will be destroyed.

Derivation of the term "expert":
"X" is a widely used symbol for an unknown.
"Spurt" is a widely plumbing term bor a drip under pressure.

Common usage combined the above and derived "expert".

So, now you know that an "expert" is an unknown drip under pressure.

Isn't it nice to know you are being protected by "experts' busy destroying rental trucks which will be payed for by the taxpayers? Don't you feel sooo much safer now?

If a terrorist wanted to shoot down a plane, why wouldn't they just use a rifle instead of some hair brained model rocket scheme? Seems like it would be a lot more successful. Besides, they shouldn't have much trouble bringing in all the shoulder fired SAM's they want across the Mecican (or Canadian) border.

This is ridiculous. I played with rockets as a kid and it got me interested in math, science and an enthusiastic space program supporter. This attack on a great hobby is ill advised. It makes no good sense.

What next?

We need a Republican president and congress to put an end to this sort of stuff.

What will they do to people like me who CAN create little things like explosives, poison gases, napalm, etc all from household items?

The worst part (HORRORS!) I live across the street from an elementary school - and I own guns! and have 2 American Staffordshire Terriers (aka Pit Bulls) the larger is 115 lbs, the small one is only 85.

I kinda like that "old guy's" saying ....

"FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS!"
