I respectfully disagree. The Republicans are going to get whatever money I can donate. I do not think they are taking this memo B.S. "lying down". They're just not fighting it in the public arena, where the hostile press will treat them as the enemy.

My last note to the NRSC included a donation but a warning that this would be my last donation to the Senate Republicans unless something was done on the unconstitutional obstruction of judicial appointments.

But I cannot withhold money from the Republican party in general or the President simply because they choose to fight these Jackal Democrats in a non-public manner. On another general principle, and perhaps this is because I used to be a socialist-leaning liberal Democrat, I cannot abide the thought of being a party to anything political that might contribute to the empowerment of the Democrat Party. I am convinced that, with the RINOs and warts and all, that the Republican Party is far and away a better place for me than the alternatives. I'll gladly work to change it--and perhaps that is where we agree, that the institution needs some reforms--but I don't think depriving funds is a good way to do it.

Peace,
rd.
