Soon, America was too preoccupied with bogus accounts of a war heroine to pay much attention to Corrie's plight.

I'd visit with Jessica Lynch any day of the week rather than with Rachel Corrie's burning social-justice family.

Author Williams acts as if there is mythology only surrounding the Lynch story while engaging in the creation of it for the Corrie family's benefit.

I can't wait for James Taranto of The Wall Street Journal's Best of The Web to return from vacation. He'll rip this schtuff up.
